Ice cream is a beach food staple here on Long Island in the summer. Specifically the ice cream sandwiches and cones you can get off the truck or vendor. So I decided to bring some of those memories back to life. Yes, who doesn't love chomping into that cold refreshing bite with your toes in the sand. As a kid on the beach, I always had to stop the guy wheeling the big wagon full of ice cream. Of course I would have it melting down my arm seconds into eating it. We shot this on a hot day and what better way to beat the heat then to eat ice cream.
